Getting by train to Augsburg Technical University of Applied Sciences

Augsburg’s main station is a busy one with frequent connections throughout the region. It is a major junction for the following routes:

 
from the north:
  Nuremburg — Donauwörth — Augsburg
from the west:
  Stuttgart — Ulm — Augsburg
from the east:
  Munich — Augsburg
from the south:
  Kempten — Augsburg

ICE and IC trains arrive hourly from all major German cities and destinations around the country.

Please note:

Some trains also stop directly at railway station „Augsburg Haunstetter Straße“ station, located right next to the workshop location (Brunnenlech campus). 

The most convenient way to plan your trip by train is to use the website of Deutsche Bahn, where you can get best connections based for your origin, destination and time. Also buying the ticket is possible w/o any additional costs. 

 

Getting by plane to Augsburg Technical University of Applied Sciences

The easiest way to reach Augsburg by plane is to fly to Munich Airport.

Munich’s main station is a 45-minute journey from the airport by suburban railway, taxi or airport transfer bus. There are at least 2 connections per hour from Munich to Augsburg’s main station. Some of these trains even stop at the "Augsburg Haunstetter Straße" station, next to the workshop location. For rail connections, visit Deutsche Bahn.

 

Getting by public transport to Augsburg Technical University of Applied Sciences

Rotes Tor Campus (10 minutes walk distance to workshop location)

Tram 2,3 and 6, bus 35 - stop "Rotes Tor"
Tram 6, bus 32 und 35 - stop "Hochschule Augsburg"

Brunnenlech campus (Workshop location)

Tram 2 and 3 - stop "Haunstetter Straße BF"
